Know Your H₂O… Make Wise Water Choices Every Day

In Spring 2008, the Museum launched a new initiative, Know Your H₂O. Our goal is to encourage everyone who visits the Museum to use a re-usable water bottle and fill it with tap or filtered water to eliminate the use of single-use plastic water bottles. When you visit our store, be sure to check out our Know Your H₂O display. The display demonstrates the amount of oil it takes to produce and transport a single-use bottle of water from various locations in the world to your grocery store. It also compares the hefty price you pay for that bottle compared to tap water. When you visit, please consider purchasing a re-useable water bottle from the store and fill it for free from our filtered water cooler.
