The Science of Nature: Opening November 16
FREE with museum admission; Why does fog fall? What is water current and what does it look like? Find out at Coyote Point Museum's newest interactive exhibition. Touch, swirl, twist, magnetize and crank eight new interactive exhibits to learn how nature’s many complex systems work together to create our environment.

ECO-GINGERBREAD DESIGN CHALLENGE 2008: Entry form due by December 7th
Entries on display December 13-27; The annual gingerbread display has been a beloved part of Coyote Point Museum’s history for 28 years. In an effort to better "walk our talk" as an environmental education institution, last year we added an eco-twist to the event by encouraging participants to think "green" and create an environmental exhibit. Continuing this new tradition, this year we have three categories from which to choose: Eco-Edifice, Wildlife Habitat and Fairytale House.; Entries will be on display in the Environmental Hall from Saturday, December 13th through Saturday, December 27th. Are you an Animal Planet fanatic? Can't get enough facts on critters furry or feathered? Then come join us in our Wildlife Theater and learn facts about our own non-releasable animals, endangered species or majestic birds! Show themes will vary so you can learn something new every time your visit. Suitability: People of all ages who are awed by animals.

FREE Wednesday: Wednesday, November 5, 2008; Free admission on the first Wednesday of every month.; $5 parking fee for non-members at park entrance.

Tuesday Tales:
Story time in the Book Nook!: Every other Tuesday
November 4, 18th at 11:00 am Enjoy an enriching story, animal presentation and exploration activity. Great for children 2-8 years old and their caregivers. Meet in the Book Nook.

Toddler Tuesday:
"Play With Your Food": Tuesday, November 11, 25th
10:00 am - 12:00 noonCome play with your food, create an edible sculpture and get things cooking with our solar oven. Explore what worms can do to food scraps. Meet other live animals and find out what they eat.
Toddler Tuesday is a unique hands-on, environmental education-themed, early childhood program. On the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month (except where noted), Coyote Point Museum hosts this activity from 10 am -12 noon for children ages 2-5 and their caregivers. Toddler crafts, exploration activities, and live animal presentations are part of this program. Each month has a different theme. $5.00 fee. Check the Museum entrance for the activity locations.
