Birthday Parties

Here's what the Museum offers:

  • A private party room with access to outdoor patio tables or a private picnic area.
  • Entry into the museum and all exhibits for you and all your guests.
  • Free parking and access to entire Coyote Point Recreational Area (includes access to Park, Marina and Beach) for you and your guests.

What you need to know to book a party:

  • To ensure space availability, we recommend that reservations be made at least four weeks in advance.
  • For parties scheduled in the classroom, four seven-foot rectangular tables and 24 chairs are provided. Four round (42" diameter) tables can be set up outdoors on the adjacent patio (Please note: THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE USE OF THEATER).
  • Our outdoor picnic area is surrounded by gardens and contains four picnic tables that accommodate six people each. Please note that this area is not covered and is fully exposed to the sun. There is no indoor space available in case of rain.
  • Maximum party capacity is 24 people, including adults and children.
  • Absolutely no balloons, noise-makers, chewing gum or pinatas allowed. We must all work together to prevent injuries and preserve our Environment!

  • Reservations are binding; please check for conflicting plans before selecting a date for your party.
  • Complete the Party Reservation Form and mail to:

    (Includes a one-year family membership)
  • Additions
    $185.00 - Interactive fun Magic and Clown Show
    $8.00 each - Birthday Goody Bags - Contains Bubble Animal, Bouncy Ball, Banana Slug, CPM Pencil, Break Your Own Crystal Rock, and a Treasure Bag to fill your very own rocks from the museum store. Items May Vary.
  • Fees must be paid within 72 hours of making your reservation.
  • A $10.00 fee will be charged for any cancellation for any scheduled date.
  • No refunds are given for cancellations made within three weeks of the confirmed and scheduled party.
